Christmas in special places

I grew up spending specials in special places. Birthday in a train in Norway, drinking fruit soda for the first time and seeing snow for the first time. Christmas on board a ship, with a hallway full of presents. And many more places.

Now, the family spends Christmas in the ward of Makati Medical. And while we first disliked the idea, now we actually WANT to stay here. Here its peaceful. Ward rooms are empty so you have the space for yourself. Here we’re together and Papa is getting well. Thats all we really need anyways.
