Papa is out
November 30, 2009
Due to lack of Internet, we have not been able to inform you any sooner but: Papa is out of the hospital. The doctors gave him clearance beginning last week, and after 4 days of frustrating getting-out-procedures, we were able to bring him to my uncle’s house.
He will wait here untill his skin allergy subsides and perhaps next year – yes, that long, the doctors are extremely cautious – they will do the andeogram of his heart. And depending on the outcome, there will be surgery. If there’s a clog, then a mild by-pass-like surgery will follow. If there’s no clog, then he’ll most likely get a pace-maker. His next doctor’s check-up is on December 4 and 5, for internal medicine, cardiology, dermatology, labtests, and EEG.
My mother is his nurse in Taguig. She diligently washes him (helps him wash), do his dailies, give him medicine on right times, cooks him proper food. Its a small miracle that she can, when a just a few weeks ago, she could not do much from hyperventilation. I am concerned though, she’ll overdo it. We can only do what we kids can to help.
