Good timing

I know that God’s time is always the best time. But nothing like this week has brought that knowledge from my mind to my heart.

Prior events had been frustrating for us kids. Jing’s processing marriage papers bogged down. Pom’s sponsor year didn’t materialise since the sponsor responded too late. My days were frustrated by having no work. And yet, had all things gone according to plan, we wouldn’t be here, all together.

 

Also, had Papa collapsed in the car on the way home, we might not have been able to bring him to a hospital soon enough. But as it was, we were surrounded by uncles who knew the area and could drive.

 

A nurse family friend who works in the other hospital close by says, that Makati Med has a great resuscitation record. The other hospital is cheaper but more patients. If they all seizure in ER, they spend less time with each patient. Had we brought Papa there, he might have not made.

Or maybe he would have too, but either way, his chances are greater here.
